Amazon FireTV:
Best Buy Retail Display

Retail Experience Design | Engagement Video

Amazon needed to elevate the in-store experience for FireTV across Best Buy locations in the Americas. The challenge was twofold: unify the FireTV product ecosystem under one cohesive retail story, and capture attention in a busy, distraction-heavy environment.

Approach

As a part of the Indigo Slate team, I left the creative direction and concept development for a series of in-store engagement videos and the visual system for FireTV point-of-sale materials. We developed a modular content strategy that allowed Amazon to tell a consisten story across screens, signage, and shelf-level messaging—while highlighting key features and benefits of the full FireTV lineup. The final system spanned across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, establishing a scalable foundation for future in-store campaigns.

Process

We began by auditing the existing in-store environment to identify gaps and inconsistencies in the FireTV messaging. I worked closely with our motion team to script and storyboard three engagement videos tailored to different customer mindsets and product tiers. At the same time, I developed a visual system for retail signage that completed the motion content and highlighted key product differentiators. The work required tight coordinated with Amazon brand and retail teams to ensure technical compliance and cross-market cohesion, while pushing for higher creative standard across assets.
